A full section of the international pier (Gates 160 thru 169) is configured for the operation of flights to and from the USA. The terminal has two piers, one used primarily for domestic operations and the other for international flights. Terminal 1 is used by Air Canada, its low-cost and regional partners as well as other Star Alliance members including United Airlines. In the winter of 2017 there are three operational terminals at CYYZ.
